Event hosted by Resilient Tulsa; details provided by them:
Help us define what resiliency means within the City of Tulsa through honest conversations and live interactive voting. ‘Not Your Uncle’s Forum: An Interactive Conversation about Resiliency’ will be hosted by DeVon Douglass, Tulsa’s Chief Resilience Officer and will feature a small panel of guest speakers. A special guest from the Office of the Mayor will also make a cameo! Doors will open at 5:00 pm, so please enjoy free snacks + beverages before the event officially starts at 5:30 pm.
This event will take place in the Pocahontas Greadington Learning & Creativity Center on the Lower Level 2 floor at Central Library downtown. Guests can access the floor by stairs or elevator (hit the LL button in elevator).
WHAT TO BRING:
If you’d like to participate in our live Q&A/polling, please bring a phone, tablet or laptop with internet access. Free Wi-Fi is available to all library guests.
There is a 143-space parking garage connected to Central Library. Please take a ticket upon entering the garage, bring it inside to the event, and we will validate your ticket before you leave. The free event parking exceeds the standard 2-hour parking, so please feel free to come early and view the newly remodeled library if you wish.
