January 2017 Help a Neighbor Day

Please join us for a Help a Neighbor Day opportunity immediately after the close of the 2017 Annual Meeting.

For those who don't know, our neighbor Rodney Million was in an accident in October 2016 where he lost his right leg; he and his wife Raynece live with their daughter Moriyah in Brady Heights.

Because of the injury, our neighbor Dani Widell is going to install a shower which will provide easier access for Rodney than the current claw-foot tub in their home. On Saturday, January 21st beginning at noon, there will be a "demo day" to break down the current bathroom and get prepared for work to be done on the shower.

On Saturday, January 28th (actual start time TBA), there will be a Skill Share "tile day" where the tiling will be installed for the shower.

If you are interested in volunteering at either of these Skill Share days, please contact Brian Parker at brianjparker@outlook.com or directly contact Dani at ellett.d@gmail.com to get more information.

If you aren't able to attend either day of the Skill Share but would like to support our neighbors, there is a GoFundMe page (https://www.gofundme.com/bless-the-million-family) set up to receive donations to assist with expenses of the bathroom project as well as other financial burdens as a result of the accident.
